Once upon a time in 1796, a man named John Young moved from Whitestone New York, to what is now Ohio. In 1797, he bought 15,560 acres from the Western Reserve Land Company, founding the city of Youngstown. Like most cities, Youngstown has a fondness for naming things after its founder.

Our Google Search Story
Some of you may remember this Google ad from this year's Super Bowl. I recently found out that, because of its popularity, Google has developed a site to allow users to DIY a "search story." Naturally what else am I going to do on a Friday afternoon?

Awkward Conversations with My Priest
As Nicky pointed out this afternoon, I haven't updated in quite a while. Life plods along and as the wedding is still very far away, things happen rather sporadically. One thing that had to be taken care of, though, was reserving a reception site. To get one we needed an official date. To get an official date we needed to reserve the church. To reserve the church we needed to have an awkward conversation with my priest.
